Welcome to Habitat 500! As a member you will be an invaluable partner in our mission to eliminate substandard housing and empower Flathead Valley families.

Shelter is one of the most basic human needs. While homeownership doesn’t solve every problem, it is difficult to imagine a family moving forward without the stability and security that a home provides. We make homeownership affordable by building in partnership with donors, volunteers, and future homeowners.

Reliable monthly support can mean the difference between beginning or delaying the building of a home, while a partner family continues to live in substandard conditions.

500 people will donate $20 a month for one year and Habitat for Humanity of Flathead Valley will build one house for a family in need. With a yearly commitment of $20 a month, or less than a dollar a day, your support will ensure a local family will have a decent affordable home in which to live. It’s easy. It’s rewarding.

Fill out the membership form. You can choose to have your credit card charged once a month or we can automatically withdraw your donation from your checking account. Your bank or credit card statement will show the date and amount of each transfer. Once you have joined the program we will send you a letter confirming your membership with detailed information about your transaction and you will receive timely newsletters informing you of the progress of the home. At the end of the year you will receive a summary statement of your yearly giving for tax purposes. Feel free to call at any time with questions you might have!
