Faith Community

As an ecumenical Christian Ministry, Habitat for Humanity is founded on the principles that transcend theological and religious differences. Simply put, Habitat provides people of all faiths an opportunity to live in a decent home.  From the partnership of volunteers, sponsors, and homeowners, evolves a network of lasting friendships and communities.  We welcome people of all faith backgrounds and beliefs to join us in our common goal of eliminating substandard housing in the Flathead Valley.  The Faith Communities for Habitat Committee is focused on transforming lives, families, and communities through an organized group of congregations in our valley.  Your Congregation can partner with Habitat for Humanity of Flathead Valley in many ways.

  • Inviting more partners from other faith communities in our area to join in the mission
  • Help build a long lasting partnership between Habitat and the faith community
  • Volunteer with Habitat at the build site to build homes or at the ReStore to help raise more money to build more homes
  • Educate the public about the need for affordable housing in our valley
  • Invite a Habitat representative to speak to your congregation
  • Supply lunches for our hungry hard working volunteers on Wednesdays and Saturdays
  • Donating financially to Habitat for Humanity of Flathead Valley
