How to complete an application:

Before we can bring your application to the selection process, we will need to following documents:

-Written description of current housing from Applicant

-30 days most recent paystubs

-Tax returns from most recent 2 years

-W2’s from most recent year

-Bank statement from most recent 2 months

-If any, letters of denial from other loan programs

-If receiving Public Assistance – Most recent income statements

-If receiving Alimony – most recent receipt showing year’s disbursements

-If any bankruptcy – discharge papers

-If any judgments – proof of paid in full

-If any charge offs or collections – proof of consistent payments

-If any medical debt – proof of consistent payments

Additional Documents:

Please describe your current living situation and explain why you are applying for our homeownership program. There is no required length or format, but thorough explanations are appreciated.

Letters of recommendation are encouraged but not mandatory. Any employers, mentors, service organizations, church organizations, and friends and family who would like to offer support are welcome to submit it to the Family Selection Committee and office.

Habitat for Humanity is intended for hard-working families who cannot receive a conventional loan (through a bank) but are still able to make monthly mortgage payments. Other homeownership options in the Flathead Valley include:
